Custom Jewelry Design Policy

  • Payment for a custom jewelry design order must be made in full after Buyer accepts preliminary design and estimate.
  • M. STERN, LLC. only accepts custom jewelry design orders for fine jewelry to be constructed with 14K/18K gold, or platinum settings.
  • We reserve the right to refuse any custom jewelry design order.
  • Custom jewelry orders are not eligible for cancellations, refunds, or returns once payment is made, except in the event that manufacturing circumstances prevent the delivery of the finished custom jewelry within a reasonable amount of time, which will be regarded as 60 days, unless otherwise agreed upon between Buyer and M. STERN, LLC.
  • There are no returns or refunds for gemstones ordered for use in custom jewelry orders.
  • Buyer understands that M. STERN, LLC. will represent all gemstones as they are represented by their gemological lab reports or suppliers and sells them in good faith on the basis of that information.
  • Gemstones are not eligible for refund, returns or exchanges, regardless of subsequent lab test results.
  • Buyer understands that there is a risk of damage and destruction to all gemstones being used in a custom jewelry design and agrees to absolve M. STERN, LLC. of any liability in the event that a gemstone used in a custom jewelry design is damaged or destroyed during the manufacturing process.
  • Buyer understands that M. STERN, LLC. will use professional jewelry manufacturing methods to deliver the most accurate interpretation of Buyer’s custom design with the least amount of deviation as is reasonably possible under manufacturing circumstances and engineering limitations. Therefore, Buyer understands that certain aspects of custom designed jewelry may be slightly different from pre-existing design renderings.
  • Any additional changes to a custom jewelry design beyond the initial design or after construction, will incur additional charges.
  • Any disputes shall be resolved under the laws of the State of California and the venue shall be within the County of Alameda.
  • By submitting payment for a custom jewelry design order, Buyer agrees to these terms.
